Neither Gt story exists in Xenoverse 2, and while RoF does, it didn't have a storyline in XV1. I mean, sure, it could be a carry point for the plot into the next game, but typically, the DLC storylines don't make it over. It just didn't seem like things were over yet. Which is why I believe that we aren't done with extra story missions, there's still something out there. It just felt like another break, not to mention, we still don't have any sign of what was going on in Pack 2's story. Not only that, while it ended on a more happy tone with Trunks staying and all, it didn't feel like a conclusion, similar to how GT 2 did in Xenoverse 1, with you guys going off to celebrate. But, as we see, they discover the Time Patrol as they went along, and weren't actually behind anything. Tying into that, they may have been controlling the wormhole of Pack 2, as they would be trying to eliminate Goku. Now, for a while, I believed that meant Zamasu and Black were going to be behind the distortion of Pack 4, not just powered by it. Trunks noted that it was only after Goku was brought back that things really went bad, and proceeded to say "I hope it was just my imagination." before the story mode ends, leaving it on a rather ominous tone. But as soon as he arrived, the wormhole began wreaking havoc, empowering and overriding the three Cabbe, Frost, and Hit's minds and forcing them to jump in and attack. Prior to Goku showing back up, the only real change was that Goku didn't show up. If you recall, Trunks made a rather ominous observation. For a moment, think back to DLC Pack 2's story mode. Now, we also know that, as the pattern has been, DLC is released every other month through the support, meaning that the remaining time is just perfect for two more packs.īut I digress, that isn't the main point I'm talking about. As of yesterday, Xenoverse 2 has 4 more months of support assured. I'll start off with the obvious, but least relevant point, being the promised year of support. So, thinking about it, I realized, there is actually a really high chance of us getting at least one final pack, post DLC 4. Hold your divine judgement until I finish, alright? I know a lot of people say that we are for sure not getting anymore, but listen to my reasoning first.
